“We are also pleased to share that this year you can join us on Friday 19th June at 6.30pm in the Italian Gardens, Weston-super-Mare, for a special Sunset Ceremony to mark the beginning of Armed Forces and Emergency Services Day celebrations. This free event, open to all, will feature a traditional Drumhead Service, a military aircraft flypast from Middlezoy Aerodrome (subject to weather and pilot availability) and a ceremonial flag raising.
This poignant and memorable occasion offers a moment for reflection, respect, and community spirit as we come together to honour those who serve.
The event is enabled through financial support by Weston-super-Mare Town Council and the MOD, delivered by the team at Weston Business Improvement District.”
