Oliver Louis Roger-Hargreaves, who was the chairman of the Weston Reform UK branch has tonight defected to the newly formed Restore Britain Party that was recently launched by Rupert Lowe.

Rupert Lowe himself was suspended from Reform UK after accusations of bullying and verbal threats.

A statement issued by Oliver Louis Roger-Hargreaves tonight on X said;

“I am hereby standing down as Reform UK Weston-super-Mare Chairman and North Somerset Regional Coordinator with immediate effect.”

”I am grateful for my 14 months in post as chair, for the people I have met, and for the historic progress we achieved by mobilising men and women to push back against local overreach.”

“However, I cannot hide the fact that I now seek something more than what I feel is being offered. I love England, our traditions, our history and I want to fall in love with its future again”

“I have come to the decision to wholeheartedly endorse Rupert Lowe and Restore Britain, and to use the skills, experience, and personal infrastructure I have developed in the South West to work toward a future we can be proud of.”

“Thanks again to all the members that have been with us all the way- ultimately we are all in the same boat.”
