Stabbing at Italian Gardens leaves man in hospital

A man was left in hospital after being stabbed during an altercation at the Italian Gardens yesterday evening.

Police had cordoned off two scenes linked to the stabbing, one location is near the bandstand in the Italian Gardens where the incident is alleged to have took place, and the second where the victim is alleged to have collapsed on Salisbury Terrace.

Witnesses have said the police cordons are no longer in place
