Alex said; “This gig is a celebration of original music from Weston. I have a live monthly residency (Coyote Club) in Bristol but I rarely play my original music in my hometown, so this makes it extra special. It’s a pleasure to have Eastertown & Lilac Sunday on the bill. Lilac Sunday are a great up and coming young local band.

Growing up in Weston, Eastertown were one of the very few bands in the town who were writing and performing their own material, and as a teenager who aspired to do just that, it was very inspiring.

We also have a great DJ, my good friend Chris Kerridge, aka The Stilton Blues DJ, who’s going to be spinning vinyl from his fantastic record collection, so you can dance away into the early hours. Tickets are selling well so anyone in the town who enjoys watching original music, make sure you buy a ticket in advance”.

Tickets for the gig are £10 and can be purchased here

The content is clear and well articulated on all the main points. The various aspects of the topic are treated with the right depth. I have already suggested this text to a couple of people in my area. It is not common to find articles that manage to cover this topic so well.
