This May, Spartans FC will be embarking on their biggest challenge yet, a 100km walking challenge ages across the Cotswold Hills whilst raising funds for Children’s Hospice South West at their Charlton Farm location.

On 30th & 31st May, their taking on a 100km walking challenge to raise money for Children’s Hospice South West.

Charlton Farm supports children with life-limiting conditions and their families, providing care, comfort, and strength when it matters most.

Organiser Rich Membury said;

“Some of the players participating in the challenge have personal links to the hospice and as a team we thrive on looking after others and raising money for charity.

We previously raised over £4k for Bristol Mind and over £3k for Suicide Prevention Bristol.

Childrens Hospice South West is currently looking to help create beautiful themed rooms and sensory boxes - designed to provide comfort joy and distraction for the children and their families whilst at the hospice.

So we said we’d help them. This challenge will no doubt test us both physically and mentally but we know each step is for a cause that truly matters.”

If you can spare a donation and help the team make a difference every little helps and every penny will go towards bringing some smile, comfort and care to those who need it most.
