Families across Weston-super-Mare are set to save hundreds of pounds a year, as four more local schools join Labour's free breakfast club programme from September.
When pupils return to the classroom after the summer holidays, Walliscote Primary School, Milton Park Primary School, Christ Church C of E Primary School and Mendip Green Primary School will all begin offering free breakfast clubs as part of Labour's Best Start programme.
The expansion means even more children in Weston will be able to start the school day with a nutritious breakfast while parents benefit from additional childcare, saving families up to £450 a year.

The announcement comes alongside new legal limits on expensive branded school uniforms, helping reduce the cost of getting children ready for the new school year.
Weston-super-Mare MP Dan Aldridge welcomed the announcement, saying it would make a real difference for local families.
Dan Aldridge MP said: "The cost of raising a family has been far too high for far too long, and too many parents have been forced to worry about how they'll afford the essentials before the school year even begins.
"I'm delighted that four more schools in Weston will be offering free breakfast clubs from September. It means more children will arrive at school fed, settled and ready to learn, while giving parents valuable time and saving families up to £450 a year.
"Alongside action to reduce the cost of school uniforms and expand free school meals, Labour is making sure the cost of going back to school is no longer a financial headache for families."
From September, schools will also have to comply with new legal limits on branded uniform items, meaning parents can buy more school clothing from supermarkets and high street retailers rather than expensive specialist suppliers.
Dan Aldridge added: "Every child deserves the best possible start in life, regardless of their background. These breakfast clubs are about more than saving money – they're about giving every child the chance to begin the school day ready to succeed.
"I'm pleased to see Weston continuing to benefit from Labour's investment in children, families and education."
The four Weston schools joining the programme from September are:
• Walliscote Primary School
• Milton Park Primary School
• Christ Church CE Primary School
• Mendip Green Primary School
They join hundreds of schools across the country taking part in Labour's Best Start programme, which is expected to benefit more than 680,000 children from September.
