Job losses uncertain as Clarks confirm Worle outlet to close

Clarks Outlet Shoe Shop at North Worle Shopping precinct is to close, a spokesperson for Clarks has confirmed.

The closure comes as many retail shops continue to feel the impact from reduced consumer spending.

A Clarks spokesperson said;

“Clarks confirms its Outlet store in Worle will be closing. We’d like to thank our loyal customers who have shopped with us at this store, and we’ll be delighted to continue to serve them with our full range of products online and at our nearby Clarks Village Outlet store in Street, and at our stores at Cribbs Causeway Bristol and Taunton.”

Weston Independent News has asked Clarks if there would be redundancies as a result of the closure, but we have yet to receive a response on this point
