Labour in the Sh*t: Councillors go hands on to clear up overflowing dog bin

Dealing with the metaphorical brown stuff is something Labour Councillors and MP’s up and down the country have had to tackle much of in recent months, but Cllr James Clayton & Cllr Ian Parker; Weston’s Labour Councillors for Bournville, decided to go hands on to tackle an overflowing dog bin which is blighting the estate.

Cllr James Clayton said;

“After a series of complaints from residents, and countless emails from myself and Cllr Parker to Alliance Homes, enough was enough.

With a children’s party taking place today, this situation simply couldn’t be left any longer. So this morning, Ian and I took matters into our own hands and emptied the dog waste bin ourselves.

This shouldn’t have been necessary, and it’s disappointing it came to this. Residents deserve better, and we will continue to push for the proper level of service going forward.
