Two branches merge to become 13 surgery Mega Dentist

mydentist's Oxford Road and Beaconsfield Road branches are integrating into a single large practice opening at Gallagher Retail Park.

The new site, between Pets At Home and Topps Tiles, is set to open on June 9.

It will offer treatments for private and NHS patients, including potentially new NHS patients.

A spokesperson for mydentist said:

“We’re always looking for ways to improve access to care and create better environments for our patients and teams. 

We’re planning an exciting step forward for dental care in Weston-super-Mare, with a proposal to bring two of our local practices together into a new, modern site at Gallagher Retail Park.”

"The move would see mydentist Oxford Road and mydentist Beaconsfield Road combined into a single practice designed to improve access, increase capacity and enhance the overall patient experience."

mydentist said the new branch will have extended opening hours, including what may see as the “ sacred cow” of evenings and weekends appointments and it will also have increased capacity, with 13 surgeries in total.

Patients are advised to continue attending appointments at their current practice until the new one opens.
